In this era of corporate-sponsored artists and packaged bands, it’s refreshing to hear a singer/songwriter who recalls a time when music was for the people, thinking at Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen, The Byrds, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson .... Kenn Morr's new cd is a throwback to the outstanding adult rock of the last years. The recording bridges the gap between generations of music listeners. Morr proves he can live up to his influences, writing meaningful songs ranging from the reggae-inspired “Get Back”, rock-influenced “Let’s Take Tonight”, to the country “River Song”. Hopefully, more quality albums will follow.
